GAINING TRACTION AND YOUR ASSOCIATION
I have successfully practiced all the propositions that were made by the authors , speakers and counsellors.
I have spoken to and counselled thousands this year.
In all of this, I've discovered a critical factor that seem to have appeared in every Story.
Fortunately, this factor is a Validation of this proverb.....
"He that walketh with the wise shall be Wise but the companion of fools shall be destroyed"
with the burden of this,I recently had a brief conversation with someone and I asked " why don't 'they' talk about peer influence like they used to?"
Let's look into this story.
Daniel and his friends were called to serve in the king's court.
They were to be trained for three years to become fully prepared for the Responsibility or what you would call "Destiny"
Remember....
He that walketh with the wise shall be Wise but the companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Let's go on....
Daniel Perceived that in the course of their training that they would most likely be fed with delicacies from the king's court, and he was right.
However, for some reason which I will not explain in this text, daniel knew that partaking from the king's food will defile him, so Daniel purposed in his heart that he will not eat of the king's meat!
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Note : Only daniel made up his mind.
Meanwhile, hananiah, Azariah and Mishael had been envisaging the delight of that seeming privilege that would bring about their 'defilement' as well.
They were not conscious..
Sometimes we are not always conscious as well...
However, They had a friend who was and who had the courage to sabotage their dreams for Good, speaking to the melzar (the guy in charge)....
Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. - Daniel 1:12 KJV
Only, Daniel purposed that he will not defile himself, But when he was speaking he added shadrach meshach and abednego to his decision. (Highlighting the words: 'Servants' and 'Us')
That singular action contibuted to their Influence and Success in babylon.
You see; The critical Factor of that sponsors Wisdom and Foolishness is your association.
He that walketh with the wise shall be Wise but the companion of fools shall be destroyed.
You have always wanted to stay focused, but somehow your vision occasionally turns hazy.
You've Always desired to work harder but You've ended up being slothful.
I know you Desired to take audacious actions because of things you heard from an event or a church service you attended, but you haven't done so 'consistently'.
Why?
Because everytime you looked around,all you saw was laziness,inaction and foolishness.
Whenever you spoke about doing something important with your life. They said " you have come with your motivation stuff again".
You used to be wise....
But Now,You have backed down....
You have become a full participant of their inaction and low self esteem...
You have joined the complaint train....
You have boarded the 'gist only' okada..
You partnered to scorn and criticize the Wise...
You have denied your destiny.
My message:
Your Foolishness is perfected in your friendship.
Your Wisdom is established in your association.
Daniel and his friends had a firm stance toward destiny because they stayed together and encouraged themselves.
2021 is around the corner.
You've been in the Wrong Crowd Enough!
Find your crowd and Stay there!
You are more than this!
